Explosion hits Coptic church of St George in Tanta

pomb impact killed no less than 13 individuals in a congregation in the Nile Delta on Sunday, Egyptian media announced. Different reports put the loss of life at 23.

The reports said many individuals were harmed in the impact.

The bombarding happened close to the St. George Coptic Church in Tanta, north of Cairo, as Coptic Christians were stamping Palm Sunday.

Wellbeing Ministry representative Khaled Megahed affirmed the official loss of life from the assault in a meeting with CBC TV.

Christians, who make up around 10 percent of Egypt's populace, have more than once been 
focused by Islamic fanatics

Civil protection forces rushed to the scene to comb the area and search for any other explosive devices.

Moreover, about 16 ambulances rushed to the scene to transfer the injured to a near-by hospital for treatment

CBC TV showed footage from inside the church, where a large number of people gathered around what appeared to be lifeless, bloody bodies covered with papers.
